I was going to throw the frame away and just keep the card, but it turns out it's electric and still works (sight and sound)

So now it will be someone's Christmas present. You know... Spirit of the Season, and all that.

Sweet! Ever watch a show called Oddities? I don't think it's still on, but the owners of the store on the show would LOVE that.

I "did" a rummage sale, a church tag sale, and two charity thrifts today. Other than a gold chain at the charity thrift, a little local one, this was the coolest find. The center rhinestone is the size of a quarter. I did score a really cool bullion embroidered purse, but another purchase killed it before I got it home, i.e. pulled a lot of the wire loose. That's not repairable, so the bag is pretty well dead. On the upside, I now have Mother's Day and Father's day for my sister and BIL covered.

A bit late, but somehow I rarely get around to the finds thread:shame:.
Agree with Davey, Moroccan, possibly Algeria, Tunisia. And yes, a tourist piece, base metal. Based on a traditional silver Islamic jewellery style, here is a silver bracelet:

Not all texts are Islamic, I sold a Tunisian base metal bracelet with the Arabic words 'free woman'. I'd like to think that has something to do with colonial times, when so many Berber women sold their finest jewellery to finance the struggle for independence.

    lloyd249 it's not hoarding if it's valuable

Vintage Japanese Traditional Kushi bone, wood and lacquer hair comb. It is two-sided with fine wood teeth set in bone frame with lacquered, painted wood décor. This is a traditional style hair ornament known as Kushi, a comb that is inserted into into an elaborately dressed hair. This comb dates from the mid 20th century
