Good day to all of you.

Picked this up for less $$ than fingers on both hands last week.
I cannot make out what it is, a pot with a weird opening contraption for the Lid.
The Mark on the base leads me to Lehman Brothers in NY.
Says copper on silver, the inside seems to me like Spun aluminum but not sure i am right on that, also wondering if the rubber ring on the upper circumference was not added after to Tame the ring of the lid on the pot.
The thing is 14" tall by 7.5" diameter.
Thought it could be a chamber Pot but most likely not, that would be a fancy one LOL.
Any idea what this could be used for and what period, thinking late 20's to 30's....the usage escapes me totally though.

It's a classic design for an ice bucket. I'd say more 50s than 30s, but definitely an ice bucket.
