Pottery question

    Hi, can anyone help me to identify the maker of this cup and provide any info about them? Thank you

    The pattern is called Cuckoo, in case you didn't know. Some listings say Minton & Boyle because the mark contains an M&B, but maybe it was made over a period of years.

    Here is a site with some information on Minton and their marks. Unfortunately your specific mark isn't shown nor is it in my Godden's book but they had many marks over the years so that's not a surprise. As Janet said this pattern seems to have been produced for quite some time.

    I did find this plate with the same mark as yours and what appears to be the impressed circle/X Minton date mark for either 1882 or 1872 I think. If your's has an impressed mark you may be able to more accurately date yours.
