    Love everyone's finds.
    Great jadite bowl Joe.

This made me laugh. My relatives had some dishes that were less than edible in my eyes too.

I leave that to the local raccoons. The one lady did say that if she hadn't been lazy and had gone looking, she'd have beaten me to one of the bracelets. No one even thought to look at the ring! I'll have to get the stone checked if I sell it, just in case, but someone would have a tough time faking that color play.

Found these two book-shaped faience pottery planters at a thrift store for $15.00.

They were made by Platon-Nicolas-Constantin Argyriades (1888-1968). Born in Marseille, he grew up in Paris and attended the national ceramics school in Sèvres. While at school he met the future glass artisan, G. Argy-Rousseau, who would later marry Platon’s sister.

In 1922, Platon opened the Poterie du Vieux Montmartre, an art glass and
ceramics studio in Paris’ Montmartre district. In 1929, he opened a pottery
studio in the village of Domois on Belle-Île-en-Mer.

How they managed to arrive in Arizona and not get separated would make for an interesting story!

I don't keep many things I find but I think these will find a special place in my display case.

Lloyd, I hope you like looking though a loupe! You've got a job ahead of you .... and dang do I wish I'd found that box first!(LOL) That's a HAUL! The ring in the bottom picture looks like one I have sitting here, and that one's real. There may be some more goodies there, and some of the real stuff isn't marked. I got a gold ring, worth melting only, for about 50 cents a few weeks back, because it was so old the marks had been rubbed out.

What a beautiful day we've had here! Not a cloud in the sky all day! So off I went to an estate sale (yes, for those who saw my Rant last week, I am vertical and mobile  )

A Norwegian household, so it's not a surprise to have found 2 pieces of Norwegian 830 silver flatware in the pile of non-silver souvenir spoons. 3 bucks total. The sweet little spoon has a 1911 date and the name Karoline engraved on it. I just couldn't leave Karoline there.
