Mexico 925 Earrings - what do they represent?

Hi All! These earrings defy description (at least to me and I need one for my listing). Marked Mexico TD-30 925. But what is this shape? Are they shamans??? They do have a vaguely humanoid shape. They measure approx 1.5" by 3/4" and weigh in at 10g for both. What do you all think? Thanks for looking and any suggestions!

 

Don't know, they look like dancing girls. The mark is for a Taxco maker, so you can list them as Taxco sterling silver earrings.
For a Shaman I'd expect a mask or other attributes, or something that indicates transformation.

 

Thanks AJ, you have a good eye. Maybe the 'ruffle' near the bottom indicates a skirt? Good idea!

 

I'm seeing women in skirts with shawls over the head.

 

The ruffles are probably lace-trimmed underskirts.
