I have come across an old looking chair not sure if it is antique or not. Cannot find any info on this type of leg. I will upload some better pictures and full pictures of the chair tonight

    Hi,

Please, click the button to edit your post, and on the image, select full size rather than thumbnail.
This saves time for those who might want to respond.
    Thanks.

Ok thanks for the help. Im totally new to all this. In my job I come across lots of old items, but know very little about them. I cannot find anything like this anywhere so any help is very appreciated. Not sure if it is an antique or ready for the skip !!

Victorian hall chair, with newer fabric that doesn't suit it well, chair probably made in India. Don't you dare skip it. ;)
