The Mylius cake spade pattern is 'Telesølv', introduced in 1942, inspired by traditional Norwegian rosemaling and carving - still in production by Marthinsen.

The three demitasse spoons look like they're German - 'Hildesheimer Rose'.

Not particularly common for open salts to have underplates, but not unknown - they seem a bit large though - do they have a depression or ring to center the 'pot', or are they just plain?

Some things are just so appealing, I can't resist - sweet little German .800 silver salt by Wilhelm Binder, very solid with three ball feet, and some interior gilt remaining, 1-5/8" wide, bit over 1" tall:

    Cheryl, thank you!
The Alvin plates are flat not indented, the little pots are only about the diameter of a quarter and the plates maybe 2-1/2” diameter.

Would think the underplates were more likely originally offered as either individual almond dishes or butter pats - are all the pieces Alvin? Not sure what other purpose the pots would serve other than for salt, my smallest silver salt is right at 1" in diameter and 3/4" tall, the first pic shows it with an equally tiny 1-5/8" long spoon, but it also easily holds a 2" long spoon as in the second pic:

This cut glass triangular salt is 1.5" at its widest, but the diameter of the interior is only 1" X 3/8", it easily holds a 2" long spoon:

The open salt in this set is a bit wider than my piece at 1-1/8", but shallower at 5/8" (their 3/8"measurement is an error), the spoon is also longer at 2-1/4":

finally got the wax cleaned out of these mantle lustres, someone used them as candle holders and let the candles burn right down inside them:( most of the gold decoration is gone, looks like they were bees or flying insect of some sort.
The payphone has been re-wired so plugs in to your home landline, tested it and works like a charm:)

I think they were symmetrical vaguely floral designs, but the top 'petal' has pretty well worn off each of them so now they look like what kyra would call bzzzzz.

    Latest house clearance.

The deceased kept his daughters bedroom as a shrine after she passed some years ago.

    Dolls all over the place.

Now I just have to sort out the Teddies and Tea Pots.

A flea on Wednesday mornings opened this week. I went to shop and had a ball being there seeing everyone. I only bought 1 thing because my selling outlets are so limited this year. So here it is, a nice McCoy vase circa 1946...

That makes me sad ! Though they may have cost a pretty penny when new,you cant give those darn things away now . Mother had about 100 (or two) and we culled the best of the best and I took the rest to 3 different thrifts who politely declined . I ended up setting them by the road with a sign and someone finally picked them up .

You got lucky. I went to three tag sales this morning... and spent 50 cents. Got a free book on Ford Motors for a friend from another friend's tag sale. A local charity thrift finally reopened. I hoped for Aladdin's cave and got...meh. But I did score a Starter Olympic jacket with the rings on it and an eagle.

Did you consider you may eventually be employed for your neighbours house clearance and you will have to shift them again........
