Wine Cooler ?

Looking some help to identify this piece I think its a wine cooler but dont know anything else nothing turning up in my searching.Theres some writing and numbers nut dont make anu sense to me.

 

A photo of the whole piece would help.

 

And also, how big is it?

 

Sorry got my photos mixed up heres one of the whole piece size is 23 x 20 x 17 cms high theres a tin liner painted green on the outside inside mahagony.

 

Looks like P CLERGET on the side dont know if its a name or place something to do with wine maybe ?

 

This could be the center section of a laminated wood propeller, with the "arms" cut off. Clerget is a name associated with plane engines, so this isn't too far a stretch.
The metal liner could have been made to fit the center hole.

 

Clerget is also a winery in France, so wine cooler/bucket makes sense. Maybe they sell/sold these as souvenirs at the winery? (Could they be made from old wine barrels?)

That is interesting as when I look at the cooler it looks like the middle piece of a propellor and it is a strange shape thank you for the pointers .
