    Hello Friends,

This ring came from a collectors estate. I am not familiar with Mexico Silver and did some research, is this possibly a Sam Pablo ring? any information would be greatly appreciated. Other markings eagle 93 in the middle

Those alexanderites were popular in the late 60s through the 70s.

Can't see the mark well. Is there a bell to the left of the letters?

I've tried looking at the mark again and it definately has the number 93 , however, I could not make out if it was a bell or eagle.

That is probably an eagle. Mexican newer style eagle hallmarks (1955-1980) look like bells. The eagles had numbers on them that were associated with a silver company, designer or maker, or location. The eagle was suppose to guaranttee a purity of .925; however, some were faked. I can't see the markings well enough for a definite ID. I can see an SP, but can't see the other markings. At the moment we are about to have dinner, and we just arrived home after over a month snow birding. Later tonight will check Hougart's The Little Book of Mexican Silver Trade and Hallmarks.

Could find no S-P in Hougart's like your mark. Nowwwww, Hougart has a listing of eagle marks with numbers. It has only one listing under the Eagle 93 mark. It is "J-S." Hougart's doesn't know who "J-S" marking belongs too. I have no doubt it is your marking. Your 1st pic is upside down. If you rotate it, the marking definitely looks like the "J-S" in Hougart. Your 3rd pic has "Mexico" upside down.
