Found this one drawer table or stand online. Thinking of buying it. It is queen anne style. Any opinions on the age of it. These are not my pics, not a pic of drawer construction. TIA :) 93241540_2888090414560653_3115704022527377408_o.jpg

Hard to say without seeing the drawer construction how old it is.
Could be 1920s, could be 1950s.
Looks like it is well constructed. Attention to detail. They covered the nail holes with pegs.

It's a cute functional little table. If the price is reasonable, go for it.

This looks wrong to be antique..... or maybe the top is a replacement on an antique base. Top is too large for that base. Would only buy if very cheap.

Need pics of the drawer construction and the top to really get an idea of age.

Yeah, agree with above, the top is all wrong aside from being too large and out of proportion, the pins are suspect and the form itself is odd. Considering QA period was 1730-1760 and they didn't make 4 leg stands in America until after the federal period 1790-1830.....
At best, you have a QA style stand probably made sometime in 20th century.

Yeah, I think that's right, colonial revival from the 1950s that was very popular.

Even if it isn't antique and the price is right, it's very functional. Night stand, end table, plant stand.

True, not sure what that revival 1950s rock maple is going for these days but it can't be much?

Because of functionality, people always looking for small tables. I'd put 35-45 on it in the store.

Yeah, the good news is, much of that furniture was built like a tank. Hard rock maple is heavy & machines like a dream, almost like metal.

Another plus? it will be an antique in another 30 years!
This 1950s colonial revival furniture was some tough stuff, it had to be as the boomer generation surely gave it a run for its money durability wise but, the furniture won that battle as it's still here!:joyful:

I'd want to look at where the top attaches. I agree with Brad that it's a married piece.
