British Army Patches ?

    Yes, I used to wear the Royal Marines Commando.
    I see the Parachute Regiment, my brother was a Para.

    Hi thanks for looking these pieces were from an active soldier I’ve been told who was bit of a hard man obviously .Havent found out more yet but Yemen was mentioned and I can honestly say I know nothing about them but I’m looking and not relying on anyone to do the work for me.Yes I know what a couple of them are.

    Looking at the pictures shown the man probably joined the Devonshire and Dorset Regiment, usually just known as the Devon and Dorsets which was an infantry regiment and became a Sergeant.

    If Yemen was mentioned that was probably the Aden conflict from 1967

    He probably became a Royal Marines Commando later.

    The Royal Marines Commando insignia includes the dagger the other way up and shows he was a parachutist too.

    I don't know what the bottom left patch is.

    Thank you I’m more interested in the history of these items as I don’t know a lot about military items.I did hear a story of him abseiling down a cliff face and found an ancient cave littered with artifacts, unfortunately his house got robbed and all were stolen.I also have a cigarette box engraveD with the Taj Mahal and camels etc.Looks like he lived the life Thanks for the information .
