F.Whitaker ?

I know there is a Frederic Whitaker does anyone know if he painted when he was 21 and was he in the UK then ? One is painted in Exeter Cathedral and the other is painted in Westminister Abbey

    To me, the signature and other writing on the painting you have do not closely resemble the signatures of Frederic Whitaker what I can see online. However, according to what I've seen he did not really devote himself to his art until later in his life. He might well have also painted as a young man, but... you would have to research his life to figure out whether this young American went to England at about age 21 and painted while there. It's possible but I don't see enough information about his early life to see a connection at this point.
