Well, I'm trying to clear out the stash in the basement and I think that these plates are the real deal -- Italian Desimone 1964 -- but I'm seeking some reassurance before I try to sell them! Photos below. Thick potting and glaze, 10" diameter.

Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

Your 'ballon man' kind of looks double struck.....but in comparison to @janetpjohn link's picture, they aren't IDENTICAL either............can't say anything else about it though.......

I have my doubts about these plates, and now remember that I had my doubts about them earlier. I noticed that the balloon seller was double struck and they aren't marked Italy. I will postpone listing them until I can rule them in or out. If Walter is around, maybe he can say yes or nay. I haven't seen enough of Desimone to know.
