    Dear folks associated with antiquers.com,

    I've been asked to provide an introduction, so please permit me to say a few words about my interests and background here....

    My name is John Goff, and I am a recently retired historian and restoration architect from Maine and Salem, Massachusetts. I've always loved antiques and preservation and history mysteries...as my family operated an antique shop in Bath, Maine when I was young. Our Goff family also is peppered with artists.

    My late grandmother Barbara Greenough Bradley [1913-2002] was an artist and poet associated with Martha's Vineyard most of her life. I'm currently working on a project to shine more light on the artwork of BGB [as my grandmother signed most of her paintings]...and her two good artist friends--Harry Cummins and Michael O'Shaughnessy. Anyone with more information about the 20th century art of Bradley, Cummins or O'Shaughnessy is encouraged to write me at email removed Thank you!
