The Whole Foods goodie bag. The random beads not included - not enough there to bother with, and i'll be ripping those apart anyway. DSCF4414.JPG

Love all the finds. Now that is my kind of grocery store, one with a tag sale. :)

I used to buy Evening in Paris for my mother. Had to save my allowance when I was a kid so as to buy her the gift. We had a local (one block up and over) shop that was a hodge podge of things and I can remember the display cases filled with perfume and cologne. Probably got my dad Old Spice there too a few times. That was his go to cologne was I was a kid. I still like how it smells.

I think some companies now are actually remaking the EIP scent. Not sure if it smells as nice as it used or not.

Purchased a few pieces of Roseville Pottery at an estate auction. No bargains but I got stuff for well under retail prices I think. I focus on mint condition pieces which are becoming much harder to find, over 50% of the art pottery I see has condition issues such as chips, cracks, discoloration, crazing, etc. That number seems to be rising with each passing year.

Here is one of my favorites out of the purchases I made. Roseville Fuchsia vase.

Unfortunately no. Did get a Rosecraft Panel Candlestick though ..... a bit scarcer line to come across.

I used to buy Evening in Paris for my aunt and the 5 & 10 Ben Franklin 5 & 10 cent store.... we also had a limited spending budget...I loved the blue bottles. And we had that same bird book! Oh, the memories.....nice finds, all!

    Hi Joe,
Love your vase. Fuchsia was one of my favorites. My favorite was an 18" jardiniere bowl, no stand:oops:.

There's an estate sale tomorrow morning. I'm going because it's going to be a sloppy Wintry mix out there and well... yeah. Besides, I have to go to a funeral on Saturday with attendant lunch. No hunting for me on the usual day. There will be a rummage sale on Friday night too, but the weather may make me skip it. If there's sleet out there and/or ice...nope. Not doing it. Besides, that church never has the good stuff anyway. (that'll be my excuse if I need one)

Watch out for clownfarts who were awarded licenses because they had $ and were breathing at the time.
