Nice weight!! As you may know..Jokelson was considered a paperweight expert and was founder of the Paperweight Collectors Assoc. He had a strong relationship with Larry Selman of the The Glass Gallery (which was in California and now in Chicago.)
Their online site is very interesting. https://www.theglassgallery.com/

I have not tried to research this weight as of yet. (will have time later today).but it may come up in a google search as being in one of their older catalogs...

  3. Thank you for all the info! It is really pretty and in excellent condition. I don't even know what to do with it. My dad was a collector of MANY MANY things so it is a little overwhelming at times as I don't want to just get rid of things without knowing if they are worth something to another collector. I want his items to be honorably dispersed if they are unique to someone.

  4. For other types of items, should I make a new thread?

You should start a new thread for each and put them in the Forum category that applies. Looking forward!

  6. Thank you. Hopefully I can figure that out. Haha

@Amanda Cyriacks, IF you ever want to sell your paperweights, here is one venue that you might want to check out.....his name is Allan Port....I did sell him one of mine (I only had a very few of my mothers) and he was VERY nice to do business with & met him personally......link below to check out! He has quite a business and is very knowledgeable!!

Yes-- I dealt with Allan many years ago (a purchase--not a sale to him) ...as I recall , he was very nice to deal with.

  11. Thank you both! I will check that out and keep him in mind!

Welcome to the group, Amanda. I, too, have inherited 4-5 paperweights, but know nothing about them. Have been too busy with other people's items to work on my own items, so they just sit there. Maybe, we can learn together through the threads here and posting.
