    Found even MOAR STUFFS!
This is a selection...good lord I still have tonnes more I haven't even got to.
( It's only jewellery though innit, tis small :) )

Thank you all, now & always

Is this black dot paste? It's small,an inch around. I am not sure if the marking in the middle of the back is a mark or inadvertent.

I think this one is coral? It as some bits misisng but I like it still very much. It says 800 and a symbol on the back. It's two inches across xx

This came to me in this box but I don't know if it came that way. Doesn't look right to me but...it's two inches across, very slim. It has a symbol on the back and it doesn't smell like brass.

Oh, be still my beating heart!:jawdrop:
    Wow, yes!
    Wow, yes!
Probably German, they made a lot of that 'stuff'.
It looks like it could be Japanese damascene, sometimes called Amita ware or Shakudo, although the last term is not really right.
Damascene is blackened steel, inlaid with other metals, often precious metals like gold and silver. Try if the front sticks to a magnet. The back would be brass, probably gilt

Just tweaked you photos, and I see a Japanese mark on the back, so definitely Japanese Damascene, yay. And perfect quality!

To give you an idea of the delicate work, one of my Japanese damascene buckles, seller's pics. The same very fine work as your dragon. Much better than much of the later Amita ware.
This Japanese Damascene was made by artists who originally decorated Samurai swords.

The black is the steel, the yellow is very thin gold which is hammered into the steel:

The back is gilded brass. Love the fan mark too, it says Fukui, luck.:) The maker is still unknown:

Bou, I just added tweaked pics of your wee Damascene dragon to the previous post.
I'll see if I can find the maker for you. It is small but a top piece, imo.

    Perfect!
Bou, can you see how every gold fin along the top of the dragon has lines hammered into it, and every scale has a tiny notch? That was all done by hand, amazing!:jawdrop: This is miniature art.:)

I would LOVE my girls to come rummage ! IMAGINE the fun we'd have at car boots! I bet I miss LOADS ( though I DO do my bit as you can see, I leave no stone unturned) and if I was armed with you ladies and your knowledge, I'd literally slay the competition. I hate to think what I have missed due to ignorance. ( Though I must say...I don't so badly )

AJ I'm going to look at my Dragon with a loupe in a min, I want to see every detail. Thank you so much for opening my eyes to this.

(I DO remember buying this one...was at Madley Car Boot and it was a pound )

What AJ & OBB said. The only one I knew for sure was that the coral is coral & piece is nicely made. The Japanese bar pin is gorgeous & it's nice to have @Any Jewelry 's Japanese Damascene for Dummies (don't mean it's insulting, that it's a brief, clear explanation for the complete novice) to go with it. Just amazing.

Bou Bou, can't wait to see what other treasures you have in the Hoarditorium.

Japanese damascene is also done on shakudo(copper and gold) alloy which is not magnetic. The only pieces I have seen in the states made on shakudo were at the Revere Academy inlay class.

Yes, it was done on various metals, very Asian. And it looks beautiful on shakudo.
But this type is blackened steel, like most of the Japanese damascene jewellery that came to the West in the 19th and 20th century.
