    Bummer!

    A friend bought a pin at a tag sale, one day when she was wearing at work one of the graphic designers asked to see it (he had a loupe). It was marked Cartier with a number. They called Cartier and there on the phone they looked it up for her. It was a special order made of gold, enamel and diamonds.

    That was years ago, I suppose Cartier would charge now also :(
