    Hi,
I need help with the marks on the ladle, I have no idea on them.
This is 13"L, and those are the only marks on this. I've included two photos of the marks, not sure which it the right way up.
    Any information appreciated
    thanks for looking

Looking at the dents in the bowl, I'm guessing silver.
Is it yours? Can you polish it?

    Sorry, I've had no luck.
I was looking for Persia, India, Egypt marks. As that's what it made me think of.

Thanks for looking cluttered:) I thought the same as you. They are marks I haven't seen before, will keep looking to see if I can find them.

The dents should be pretty easy to press out if you get yourself a hard, round object. Perhaps a billiard ball or some such thing. Or the base of a baseball bat.

Thinking of the double marking, there is one part of the world where they mark their silver several times: the Caucasus. It is never clear which part, could be northeastern Turkey, could be north of there. I have several pieces of Caucasian jewellery, repetitive marking everywhere.
A wild guess, Jewish silver from the Caucasus?

Thank-you Any Jewelry:) Looking around I'm finding some fantastic pieces of jewelry from that region, very easy to get side tracked.

I know what you mean, if I could only see one style of jewellery for the rest of my life, Caucasian would certainly be one of my considerations.
I have a beautiful antique Caucasian buckle, silver filigree with blue and green enamel. I wanted to take a picture for you, but can't find it at the moment.
