1930 John Stuart Furniture Need help identifying

I recently acquired a piece of John Stuart furniture. Research shows the company started in 1934 and was a high end retailer who sold other manufacturers furniture. The piece I have his stamped on the back 1930 which would pre-date the John Stuart company. The piece has a John Stuart Inc. metal label inside the drawer. I am trying to determine more about the piece and establish an estimate of is value

 

the 1930 is likely something other than a date...

 

The number may be a model or inventory number. The singlle picture is really useless to say much about the item.

Probably 1040s - 50s server in the Hepplewhite style. Wood appears to be mahogany but pics are pretty small and hard to tell.

it all depends today on where you are , how you wish to sell it, whom you want to buy it , and what if any pieces like it have sold for...
I know my ex wife would like to get a hold of it ....but she'd only like it for free & you'd have to deliver it to Mass.
