Chair Identification

    Could anyone assist me in identifying the period/style of this chair? (attached)
    Victorian? Post-Victorian; Edwardian? Parlor, Boudoir?

    Maybe I'm wrong, BUT has a NEWER look all over it. Hopefully someone else can give info!!

    Perhaps a replica? Maybe "Modern Parlor" replica: Edwardian (Oval back, button-tuffed, velvet fabric) armless (womens; maybe boudoir)? Wood raises concerns about it being a true period piece. Cabriole legs (even if only a replica) are present but the backing and chair in general seems to lack the ornamentation of common Victorian furniture.

    It is a Victorian style balloon back chair but does have an odd look to it. Looks like it could pick up and walk away. Very well could be newer. Some more pics might help to determine.

    Wondering if it can walk around after midnight while you are sitting on it - I think I saw that chair on a horror movie on the Chiller Channel last night! :nailbiting:

    1960's-70's victorian style would be my guess too.
