Featured Odd Shiny Pyrite-Like Faceted Bead Necklace

Today I picked up this unique beaded necklace at the local thrift store, since I am now venturing out. It has an old-looking box clasp, with french wire ends. It looks like it has some definite age to it. The strangest thing is that I don't think the faceted beads are metal. They almost look like pyrite. Have any of you seen anything like it?

Are the faceted beads solid or hollow? They look like metal to me & I have seen such things that were hollow. Pyrite is a form of iron, so still talking metal.

 

Is it attracted to a magnet?

 

The beads tested as high-grade silver that may be over 925, considering how dark-red the streak test was. The clasp did not test as sterling.

I got the Russian one online.

They're sterling or higher. They feel solid and are quite heavy.
