I purchased a jewelry lot. In it was a pin which I thought was a newer gold plated Guardian Angel pin. The gold is much like some of the MMA plating.
It is marked with copyright SPNEA and lower down is DH.

I don't have the ability to take and post pictures, but I found one listed on ebay exactly like what I have. There are also a couple listed on Ruby Lane. All are claiming Art Nouveau angel.

I don't think that is correct.
I have checked what references I have bookmarked and haven't come up with anything.
    Could use some help please

    Here is the ebay listing

And copies of their pictures, which is exactly like my pin.

I think she's MFA Boston with a different branding. Society for the Preservation of New England Antiquities or some such beastie.

I knew I could count on you ladies to come up with an answer.
Thank you. Collectively you have put the picture together.

Wilhelm von Kaulbach (15 October 1805 in Bad Arolsen, Waldeck – 7 April 1874)
Painted "To God", haven't found the exact date. Don't think it matters.

Historic New England, previously known as the Society for the Preservation of New England Antiquities (SPNEA),
The Society for the Preservation of New England Association begun in 1910, at some point became Historic New England. Can't find the date of change for that. However I am guessing this change happened sometime in the last 10 years.

In one of the Historic New England Museums is a needlework of "To God", depicting the guardian angel. Donated by Mrs Lamson. We don't know how long it was in her family.

Again guessing that the Historical Society had a special show highlighting this particular textile. Had the pin made to capitalize on the show. Most likely made by a company called KJK, as shown on the society's website.

Again Thank You for finding the details.

SPNEA is trademark. Active dates are on U.S. Government web site.

The linked auction listed this as Art Nouveau (well, "vintage Art Nouveau", and in the category dating 1895-1935). The seller might consider that the copyright symbol (c) began in 1954.

Cluttered, you were right on the mark thinking this was newer.

Might still find a buyer, though! :)

The two that came up are the two on the Society website. One listed for Reproduction Wallpaper and one listed for Reproduction Furniture.
Both were active in the 1980s to early 1990s.
Have not found anything for jewelry.

It's a nicely done pin. I marked it $39.00 and put it in the window with my St. Patrick's display. Hopefully it will sell.

I'd hardly call her a Guardian Angel. The title "To God" implies the child is dying and the angel is carrying her to heaven.
