Featured Pottery horse ,mid century ?

    Hi all . Picked this 7x7 pottery horse up thinking Italian,maybe Bitossi,and of course image search has yielded me ZERO . Why cant I ever find anything anymore ??? Anyhoo,any input is always appreciated .

    I even thought German ? Deco or mid century ?

    Not Bitossi, but Italian seems a good guess. Doesn’t seem to have a Northern European style, although I would not be surprised if it was Scandinavian.

    Germany or Austrian I think is your best bet, maybe a bit older than mid century, guessing 1930's

    I spent quite a bit of time perusing those names,and while I see many similarities havent been able to pin anything down. The face is more "streamlined" for lack of a better word on mine. Yet the mane and the glaze and the legs sure do remind me of Karlsruher . As an aside,I never knew much about German pottery,some of its quite striking !

    I would say that it is very equal to the Italian ceramic of Amalfi or Vietri.
