Stern Industries Lamp...

Stern Industries Lamp 1956.
Trying to find more on this lamp, but finding much on Stern Industries is tough enough.
Not sure if this is chalkware or...

The shade came with it and is in rough shape. might be able to be steamed and straightened...? No rips or tears though.

Would agree that this is chalkware. You have the date on the lamp. Shade covering does not appear to be original. This is not of the type desirable to buyers. The figurals are what are sought after.

That is also what I am finding.
Just could not find any info and thought it strange.
and like the proverbial cat, it made me curiouser and curiouser.
Any ideas on finding info on Stern Industries, beyond what I have unearthed?
I await any light you may shed.
