REALLY unique German Pottery... help identify? I can't find ANYTHING even close to this. Ideas?

    Don't get me started. Tim W is very good on the stuff he knows but not when the producers write the script. Same with the rest.

    The vase you showed for comparison is more along the lines of the Amphora I mentioned above and by a famous maker. Your vase is more generic but still nice. I spent some time last night searching but was not able to come up with a maker. Chances are, it is not typical for the maker and why we can't find more similar. It also could have been by a maker that was not in business long. It may remain a mystery.

    You might send a picture to Rago auctions. I have on a couple occaisions and they have always gotten back to me within24 hours. They are good with pottery and glass.

    I'm in the US. I got the piece at a flea market in Florida a number of years ago.
