Admiralty Charts dates back over 200 years. I don't know how long they have been using that impressed paper seal or if that is just a marketing device used under license by another company.

That wasn't sarcastic, he practically just told me that it's quite possible that it is real, if the company dates back that far, that could be a custom seal made just for the occasion. I am thankful though, any knowledge is useful at this point.

Maybe it's one of them rare works where the artist paints all his famous works in one single masterpiece. One of his paintings ''Battle Between The (u.s.s.) Constitution And The Guerrière" sold in 2007 for 16.800 USD!! And you have not ONE but Five works!!

I am not sure that is the gist of my post. Good luck in your quest to authenticate this.

Yes, it's possible that it's real, but so far the preponderance of info suggests that it's not.
    & I wasn't being sarcastic either....

The only info suggesting that it's not is the type of paper which couldn't be detemined from the picture. Everything else adds up.

    They're a bit too subtle

It is a later copy that was hand tinted. Interesting. Done in quantity. Not terribly great value.

I'd like proof of that claim. If they were done in quantity, there would be more prints with the same seal, which I can't find any history of which makes me think it's rare.

You are going to have to take it to an expert who will look at it in person. I have to say, in my 50 years of being in the antique & collectible business, it's more often the case that items are not as old as the owner wants them to be. You've been given some best guesstimates by people who can only see online images. Go to a local conservator or museum and get someone to look at it. Many quality framers (not Michael's or A.C. Moore) have archival trained professionals on staff. It's one place to start on the paper itself.
