1954 Plate NCC Navy Connection?

    I found this in a local TS. The striping on the plate is similar in color and placement to USN Mess China. Any Sailors here that would know if these Initials NCC have a Naval Connection?

    I think it is Navy, though should probably have an anchor too, but could mean anything.

    I'm with Mary. Whenever I see something with CC in the initials, "country club" is my first - and often, last - thought.

    Norfolk Country Club?

    Not Navy anyway, have had lots of official Navy table things and this does not fit.

    Thank you for your input. I will keep looking. I have looked at various country clubs, but there are many. Also, I tried Community College with no luck so far. Someday I may find a match.

    Your title began with "1954..." Where did you get that, are there marks on plate back and if so may we see?
