    Two very nice Chalk drawings but can't figure out the artist ? So help needed as always :bag:

    I don't know if I am seeing the name right but it looks like "Lu Grofiay" to me.

    Thanks but any idea where the drawings are made ? Like European or American maybe ? That could be helpfully maybe to find the artist ?

    The artist has a French name so it's probably a French drawing.

    Don't see French name. I would explore whether artist's signature is written in old German. Alpine setting. Second scene appears to feature wayside shrine (like below) with Matterhorn in background.

    From what I found Grofiay is a French name.
