    Globe brand, The world light MFY LTD yellow lantern. Oil lantern. Does anyone know much about these?

    I'd call it a road menders lantern. Smallish parrafin lamp that in the 1950s would be hung on road works at night to warn drivers there was a hole in the road or whatever. Not much light output but they did the job.
