Bonjour and this treasure hunter says thank you for having me!

So where do I begin....

A wee girl from New Brunswick, Canada....many years ago started garage sale hunting, fell in love with stuff ; eventually started doing my own garage sales, worked in an antique shop then eventually discovered auctions when I moved to Victoria, BC where I was introduced to treasures beyond the likes I had ever seen!

I was no longer in love with stuff, but found myself wobbling home with whatever put a twinkle in my forever curious mind.

Buying, collecting and selling is the magic and passion in my life..the process. I seem to like unusual things..the pieces that make me go..Huh???? or wow!

I collect sewing buttons..bakelite, mother of pearl, abalone, glass...metal. I love unusual jewelry, folk art strikes the strings in my heart. The hunting is quite exciting..never knowing what I a going to find or where!

When the series Canadian Pickers came to town looking for folks to become the next treasure hunters for their new televised series..guess who interviewed...me!

weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, although I obviously did not make the cut, it was quite an experience!

My idea life...treasur hunting worldwide...forever!

I was born in N.B......and never went back...

 

...i miss the bay des chaleurs..hot summer beaches, seafood....

 

when I traveled to Van & Vic....I ate so much salmon they thought I was a Killer whale !!!

( little did they know....)
