Old Copper water holders...can't remember proper term.

    image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg I got these about a year ago and thought they were cool. They have a stamp on the bottom that appears to be a star and crescent moon. On one of the handles, you can make out, what appears to be a N and maybe a W.

    I'd call them ewers, and they look more like brass than copper.

    Geez, there are a lot of flags with the 5 pt. star and moon. Pakistan? Tunisia?

    Sue did you find something that related to Pakistan?
    We did a lot of importing from there in what the late 1980s - 90s?

    image.jpg I had seen that on Wikipedia before. I was wondering if the design could help determining origin. It looks like a moth or butterfly going around it.
