Thanks! I would have never thought to look this up. I simply described my winged figure as looking like Stitch from the cartoon, Lilo and Stitch, lol.

 

It looks like it says, Bates & Bacon.

 

I love your descriptive writing style. The markings on it say Bates & Bacon on it. I found out they made pocket watch cases and pocket watch chains. I had it for years, stuck it in a shadow box case and forgot I even had it until l saw it again last night. I was glad to come here to hear what you guys would say. Thank you for your comments. I was ready to tell you this is Pan, but see you already got there. My assumption is that all jewels are glass. The upper figure has a mashup of features; is not ringing any bells right off. Great piece!

I would fail the Victorian era. I can't even follow the directions to build an Ikea book shelf. They used to make these on special tables and followed some kind of elaborate directions. I would get so frustrated I would end up throwing it out the window, lol.

a long standing problem already with Black Sabbath. listen to the lyrics of War Pigs etc. , then you'll know why I preferred them to non-singers like Baez and Dylan. not to speak of the gruesome guitar playing of these two....
