Newbie!! Furniture Mark help??

    Hi all... brand new here.. i just bought what i think is a vintage bureau. I found a mark on a brass hinge. My search online has led me here, i was really hoping someone could shine some light on this mark.

    Sorry compressed an image of the bureau.. i bought it for 18 pounds and washoping to clean it up a bit as my first project. Not really sure of its age.. just guesing at everything really so any input would be good.

    The mark is probably for the maker of the hinge and has nothing to do with the maker of the furniture. Over here we would call this a drop front desk or ladies secretary. Looks to be 20s or 30s and of walnut veneer.
