This isn't mine but I'm interested to learn about it. On a previous post @Any Jewelry said that some Indian jewellery is recognisable as the often use red and blue glass cabs. Trying to develop my eye, is this Indian?. With those little cannetille roses too?.
The livestock is obviously an appealing feature :wideyed:. Am I right in thinking c1900 with the pin length?

That is if it is from the Himalayan region, or the Himalayan foothills in India. Coral and turquoise, or faux cabs and beads in the same colours.
Most Indian jewellery uses more and/or other colours.

I would guess this one is from North Africa, but I could be wrong. Algeria is the main crescent moon jewellery country in the region.
A seed? Looks a bit like fennel seed.
That kind of dating goes out the window with ethnic jewellery.:( But given the whole picture, I would say early 20th century.

Thanks for the info about this brooch. It's rather a clunky crescent moon compared to some examples. Is this just iffy workmanship or an indicator of origin?

    Could be either.
Here are two of my Algerian crescent moons:

This one is the seller's pic. It is Kabyle Berber, with Med red coral:

It may be English/British. We did a lot of Kashmiri "Paisley" styles. Hinge and clasp look late 19th.

It does have that look about it.
Lol, brooch isn't mine but it's a random thing to get onto a piece of jewellery. Looks like it's been stored in a barn. You would think the seller would at least wipe the dirt off it!

I see numbers on the 3 bottom pieces. The turquoise looks Persian in color and set well. Again, like said before could be glass. A few of the other stones have a Rhodolite garnet hue to them. Lots of glue be careful cleaning. It’s pretty.

The seed could have gotten on it anywhere along the line so I wouldn't count on it as an original item.
