Believe it or not ebay is the worst place to sell these type of boxes and to get a price point idea. I actively seek them out on ebay to get them for cheap. On ebay I usually am able to get them for $75-$200 unless they are large or have more elaborate metal hardware. That is not to say that they don't sell for higher on ebay. A box like this would do much better on Rubylane or Etsy.

I used to sell on ebay and get top dollar for boxes like this, but had to move my selling venue off of there because dealers only seem to shop on ebay now for bargains. I am not going to lie, I go on ebay looking for bargains too. I usually sell a box like this, around this size for around $400-$600 on Etsy, but it takes 6 months to a year to get a sale.

Hi. Hope you are having a great day. I want to show you something else to be on a lookout for since you are so good at finding glass boxes ;):joyful:

Here is what fake opaline looks like. This is an Italian version called veritable opaline from around the mid century. It is actually cased glass. Most of these boxes are missing the Murano foil labels on the bottom and lot of people mistake them and think they are antique French oplaine glass. Believe it or not, these Murano glass boxes sell for quite a bit of money too. They came in all different colors and shapes too much like the real French opaline boxes.

    Happy hunting!

I just got one of mine out to take some pictures for you:

Here is what the label sort of looks like. Mine is worn off:

You are welcome. Your best bet if you are selling it on Ebay, is to not put it on auction and if you do make sure you put a reserve on it. If not, list it with a set buy it now price on Ebay, otherwise you might not get a good price for it.

I found it. The listing looks nice! I forgot to mention. If you can, try listing it in the antiques glass category section. Certain antique glass collectors look for glass specifically in the antique glass category and if you don't put it in the glass category some people may not find it.

Also, I don't see the word antique in your listing title. When I search for these boxes, I don't usually type in opaline glass. I type in antique glass box to find them. Adding the word antique to your title might help your buyer find you.

    Good luck!
