Me too. Just returning a teapot I bought to finish a set. Paragon Victoriana Rose. Teapot listed with no damage, arrived today with three large chips and not new from transit. That's the fourth dud in the last month. Ebay and gumtree are a nightmare just now. Too many inexperienced sellers clearing out rooms, lofts and garages.

I picked these up today ,one of those "what was I thinking?" moments but they were cheap as chips and so pretty ! 6 inches high from bottom to top,and the globes are 2 1/2 . I realize they are parts, but havent been able to figure out what the rest would have been . They fit perfectly in a candle holder . I have no idea what in the world Im going to do with them ! Any ideas on age, usage, etc?Any input is always appreciated.

I get lucky every once in a while. You need to find some hurricane shades to fit them.

I have a pair of yellow glass candlesticks that I immediately tried, but alas they are just too big scale wise. That second link made me drool so now I must find the perfect ones !

Okay, Peggy is done stimulating the economy with her stimulus money!!!:smuggrin::smuggrin::smuggrin:

This bottle was made by Archimede Seguso in the Sommerso technique. It is a c.1965 DeVilbiss atomizer. It stands 7 1/4" tall, 3 1/2" across the middle & weighs almost 2 pounds.

This bottle was also made by Archimede Seguso & is done in a yellow twist glass on an Alabaster foot. It is a c.1967 DeVilbiss atomizer & stands an impressive 9 1/2" tall. It originally would have been sold with a matching dauber bottle that had an Alabaster dauber.

I actually only purchased the dauber bottle recently. I have had the atomizer since April of 2017. It was also made by Archimede Seguso & is done in "Red Arabesque". This technique has a ruby red cased layer over clear glass & is finished in a textured gold metallic spray. These are both c.1965 DeVilbiss. The atomizer is 9 3/4" tall & the dauber bottle is 10 7/8" tall.

This piece was originally sold as an ashtray & is shown in the 1928 DeVilbiss catalog. I am not sure what company provided the glass portion but the metal portion would have been made by DeVilbiss. It is 3 7/8" tall to the top of the deer's head & is 4 3/4" by 1 5/8" across.

The last is 3 little c.1930's Czechoslovakian filigree bottles.:happy: The 2 on the outside are 2 1/4" tall & are 1 1/2" across. The little one in the middle is 1 3/4" tall & is 1 1/4" across.

I've been doing job lots of jewellery. Some nice bits in amongst the dross, including a genuine Tomas Sabo bracelet, which made the whole lot worth it.
