I would love to hear any story about how you have come across an unusual piece etc.. I also wanted to hear a story of how you may have found something you were searching to add to your collection for many years and how you finally found it or something like that. It doesn't even have to be really valuable. Just any interesting tale of how you found something beautiful and a tale of how you acquired it, where you got it etc.

Actually anything you tell us turns into something interesting. I was just having anxiety tonight (I have panic disorder) and this Covid19 lockdown is finanally getting to me and I wanted to just have something to talk about with you guys. You are all such wonderful people and make me feel less anxious. Thanks for being who you are. A fabulous and interesting person.

 

He can be as cantankerous all he wants and I will still think he is great. I love his sense of humor. It makes me smile.

 

As I told you before this forum is just what the doctor ordered. I am going crazy because I live on Long Island and we are being locked down even longer now. I wanted to go antique bottle hunting in Brooklyn this week and now I still can't leave the house. It is like being in prison living here, lol.

I just realized something. Hey @Bronwen you live in NYC right? Do you like old antique glass perfume bottles and antique glass bottles in general? I got a tip that there is an old antique bottle dump in Brooklyn with thousands of bottles that washed up on the shore over there. If you are interested in relic hunting, let me know. Nobody wants to go with me and I would love company looking for old antique glass bottles. If you ever want to meet up and go with me one day I think we could have some fun.

My dad grew up in Canarsie and said it is by the Knapp Street exit and you need to go to Avenue U to get to it. You would definitely have to wear shit kicker boots if going there. My dad said it is really muddy. I wouldn't care about getting dirty just to find some antique Victorian bottles and other artifacts.
