Hi guys. New to the forum. I have a client that has a Salvador Dali that she wants to feature prominently in her living room. It needs re framing but I don't want just anyone to handle this piece. Where can I take it in Miami, Florida?

    TIA

And my only advice is to find a framer that has been working in the area for some time. Don't go to some new guy that just relocated from Jersey or Phoenix....................when Ma moved to Florida permanently she had to have all of the artwork re-framed due to differences in humidity, etc. She actually had it done TWICE - the first house did not know what they were doing and stretchers started to crack frames and prints started to wrinkle............................

and I just remembered - she had to send out two gold-leafed frames to be PAINTED gold............with over a dozen people in and out of the house all day there were by default almost always flies in the house...............and flies leave a nice little deposit on gold that causes black spots............................

Is it a painting or a signed print?
