How old is this stool?

    Home made and kept outside, maybe for a plant stand, I have 3 that weather just like that. It's probably 50's or 60's as the leg posts go through the top and I notice one leg is "wedged" making it tight. I'd say top was soaked in water to expand then dried around the legs (like the Amish build green wood barns and when the wood dries it solidifies around the dowels to form a sturdy structure)

    Kingjoker, my grandfather used to "bang together" (his words) stuff like that all the time.

    Whenever he needed a particular "something" that he didn't have, he'd make one: rough (like this) if it was for the garage or yard, all sanded & finished if it was for in the house.
