Old Glass Bottle - Liqour Flask?

I don't buy many bottles, but I really liked this one. Searched a couple of websites including Society for Historical Archaeology but didn't find this particular shape. The neck has 2 mold seams which do not go to the lip, but I believe it is because a tool was used and the mold seam was worked away. Down the body sides the seam runs just to the beginning of the foot and stops. It has some large air bubbles, one in particular is very large in the shape of a tear drop with smaller ones throughout. I am guessing it is a flask type with the closest I could see were the ones called Calabash. Any help in dating and identifying the type would be appreciated.
    Measures 8 3/8"h x 4 3/4"w at the widest x 1 3/8" top .. with the base measuring 2 1/2" x 2 1/4".
    Thanks,

    Eddie

I don't think it's old. It looks like a modern Home Goods décor item.

Then please say why u think so.
It doesn't seem that well made...

Because of the tool marks around the neck, the air bubbles, the color and mold lines having the smooth feel and not the sharp edge of new glass.
Explain what is well made to you?

All of those reasons are why I think it's new.

    No bubbles...unless they are controlled.
Smooth mold lines...or better none at all.
    Richer color...that pops......
A shape that's elegant, & is found in the best books on the subject.

But that's my take on things...old.

You liked it that is what is important.
You bought it so it must have been a price you were comfortable with.

If it was marked as old, and you believed them - that is not so good. It's now a lesson. Hopefully, not an expensive one.

It looks newer to me also but then I am not a bottle person. I would google for a bottle collectors site where they do ids. Facebook has a group.

Thank you all for your comments. I do appreciate them.
I think I will send a couple snaps to a bottle place and see what they think. I bought it as old, but not necessarily as antique.
As I mentioned I do not buy many bottles, but do have around 50 which are mostly old vine and some known examples of flask styles with markings.
I do know what control bubble is, but I wouldn't have thought it would of been used for a bottle of this sort. More so in art glass is where I am used to seeing controlled bubble application.
In the end I like the bottle and, as with most stuff I buy, find or get gifted will be displayed and enjoyed. Thanks again.
