Print block for 1925 Paris Exposition - use?

    ....that is precisely what it is. A type high (approx 7/8" high) letterpress print block for newspaper/magazine/book printing. Early ones made from copper and mounted to the wood base.

    Your welcome..........and zinc would be correct. Still in use through the 1950's. Long about that time when offset printing seemed to explode.
