large sterling bird head pendant

    Can anyone tell me where this large 1 1/2" sterling creature or bird head? pendant might have been made? (marked STERLING!) allot of silver here! Thank you!

    it looks like a stylized rococo dolphin to me. Am I seeing a stamp inside there? rococo dolphin.jpg

    I was hoping for a makers mark. Not much to go on. Try baroque or heraldic dolphin as search terms also.

    Agree, a dolphin's head.
    Anton, we read a lot of threads and may miss a few words here and there. At least Darkwing saw it was a dolphin and not a bird.:playful:
