Batter jug

    Hello - There are no marks on this jug, but the spout is unique. I was wondering if anyone knew if the age or origin based on the spout alone. I've only come across one piece with the same type spout, but it was not a batter jug. Any background you could provide would be appreciated.

    A google image search of batter jug bail handle brings up a lot.
