    It's WMF Ikora, circa 1930 - original fitment. Bought for absolute peanuts at an auction. I liked it, then someone id'd it for me.

    My parents were what I call North Jersey Refugees. Dad was from Maplewood and Mom is from Elizabeth, at least for the most part. She spent a few years in Jersey City in the 30s. I still have cousins all over the place down there.

    As for that lamp...NICE one Bear. Did they have the glass made in Italy? It looks like Murano cased glass.

    Very nice. I have been looking for a piece of Ikora or Myra to add to our collection. I have seen the asking prices on those lamps. You done good :)

    Yup, they made their own glass, and sometimes it's signed.

    I think this needs a tall cylinder shade, something that stands well above the base.
