Is that a Cooper hawk, Terry?

Yeah, it won't snow here in S. Jersey. If it does, it will be gone before very long. It just pretty much gets wet here all winter long.

One can always use a rest, Evelyb.... I think I will be doing just that this weekend. The chores need tending to....

Super little example of Clifton art pottery. Early examples like this are hard to find.

Thank you Brad - I had no idea what I had found - just that it looked beautiful to me. I guess 99c at the thrift store was a good price :)

Most definitely. Today, btw, I found time to use the sewing machine. And over a foot of snow. No tag sales this weekend I guess. There was supposed to be a moving sale but with all that snow out there we won't be able to park.

I would gladly double your money and pay shipping if you would send it to me ;)

Kidding aside, any matte green piece of pottery dated 1906 should be snatched up in a nanosecond at a thrift store. Your instincts were great!

I've been 'liking' all the AMAZING finds, but have been quiet. I mentioned awhile ago we may be moving and things have been moving ahead on that front. I'm hoping to share more concrete information very soon. Alot has been happening (good), but things can change, so I want to share when I know it is definite. I will say, I've been packing inventory... a little each day. It has not made a blasted dent. Fun to see the stuff I have, not fun to see how much work I have and haven't done.

With a potential move just a couple of months away, I've slowed way down on buying. But, tomorrow is 'ma'birthday' and how can someone NOT go to the GW? And I 'thought' that we had a new manager (thankfully) - I met him last time. And it was confirmed this time. All the prices are back to normal for our area, which is cheap.

I bought lots today for about $30.00. These are my favorites.

I am 'one of those' that flips over everything. I can't tell you how many times I've been surprised at what I find. I brought home a large mid-century Royal Copenhagen vase a few months ago that 100% looks like a new Walmart or Ikea vase. I didn't recognize this at all. Would this be a Dutch Oven, Covered Casserole or both? RRPCo for about $7.00:

Each of these were .99. The cup on the left was Made in USSR with a mark I can't find. I likely won't list for awhile and when I do, will ask for help. The other is a vintage Corning WWII HandWarmer Mug (I never heard of these!) and this paid for everything:

How can you not find these lil bunnies cute. I will get these up before Easter - $1.21, vintage MIJ:

Hoping to be back soon with an update!

Finally have something to show, it's been slim pickings for me lately.
Got a 14K white gold 8 gram watch band, and 2 other tie tacks/pins, 1 is 10K & the other is 14K. Got all of those at the same sale, along with a few other pieces of non gold items for $12.
A couple of early cast iron skillets for a dollar a piece. One of them has a gate mark. Heavy rust on both of them, but I will be trying the bacon grease/oven thing later today. I've never done that before, so it will be a lesson for me, wish me luck.
And last a cute small pressed glass vase for a quarter.
    I love everyone's finds! Happy hunting:kiss:

My parents came from cranberry country in Wisconsin. Most of the bog owners appear to be millionaires now. This was already an antique 49 years ago when it was made into this trophy.

It's a picker. Like the little blueberry scoops, but 19 inches wide.

I'm from NJ and since NJ grows the second most, I think, cranberries I thought that immediately.

For some reason NJ is now third with only 8%.
I'm guessing the kids don't want to carry on the biz. :(
