Thrift purchase. Who is this supposed to represent? Some kind of Asian figure, Chinese, Japanese or alternatively Native American? There is some kind of papoose like thing or basket in the back.

It is heavy, 4.5lbs seems to be some kind of ceramic. I don't think it has more than a few decades worth of age at most. Guessing it might be a decorator piece from a store like Pier One or something. Details aren't finely done, but curious about it. Trying to get keywords to look up similar. Thanks!

Thank you, Debora. I couldn't find the exact goddess, but thanks for the link!

Would something like this be molded? There seems to be applied sections. Not thinking huge value, but curious where something like this would have been sold. It weighs almost 5 lbs and just looks and feels a bit better than some of the recent Chinese I've seen. Not even sure how to describe it if I was looking for similar. Any suggestions on keywords? Thanks!

Sorry, not a clue. But does look like a modern, resin-molded decorative piece.

I think modern, too, maybe 80's-90's or even later. Learning here... this is ceramic, bottom is rough and stone like. You could not press a pin through it, and if dropped, the piece would shatter. I'm familiar with resin, this isn't it. (Or is "resin-molded" something different.) Thanks!
