My Girlfriend and I collect glassware and today she picked up this Hazel Atlas rooster shaker for me today (love me some dang roosters.) Anyways it came from a local man who worked for HA in Ohio and he said it's to be considered rare. It is, in fact, Hazel Atlas but a lidded shaker? Please someone give me some info or a direction to go. IMG_2305.JPG IMG_2307.JPG

There are several like yours, with classic car motif for sale on ebay at this time and one with pheasants on ebay solds. Nothing with roosters though.
I think with the plastic lid, it would be for kitchen use... a pancake or juice shaker rather than cocktail, which had metal lids.

I've seen the ones with the cars and the ones they call "swanky swigs" but, they don't have lids. One of the swigs though has a pattern very similar to this. I'm just at a loss. Maybe it is rare, seeing as how nobody can tell me anything from multiple posts. Maybe someone put a shaker lid on a swanky swig (not even sure that would work.) Maybe it doesn't matter lol, it's vintage and I like it either way.
