    I have a so called Dazey Churner...and Ive done a bit of research to see if I could figure out if it is authentic or not. I got a lot of pictures and would greatly appreciate it if you guys could help me on this :)

    Edit: I did a simple test of putting a magnetic to the bolts that holds the top part together and definitely was magnetic. I read some place that the original churns were made with steel rivets & thats how you would test it out.

    Its hard to see what is engraved or embossed on the bottom so Im going to type it out here;
    "Pat App For No 4"
    "Made In ST. LOUIS, MO USA"
    "DAZEY CORPORATION"

    I see no reason to suspect it's not authentic. Looks original to me. I doubt it's something that would be reproduced, and if so it wouldn't have real age showing like this piece does. Of course wait for other opinions but it looks right to me.

    Looks like the real deal to me also. The following link is to a page showing the differences between real/authentic and reproduction Daizey churns. The one discussed is a 1 qt. butter churn, which is a bit different than yours. Anyways it says reproduction gears have round holes while original gears had wedge holes like yours. It also shows raised and impressed molded numbers/letters on the metal works on authentic ones and says reproductions have neither molded numbers or letters.

    Geee, these folks are looking for Dazey butter churn holder. Look at some of the prices paid. Nowww I don't know exactly what a "holder" is.
