Oh my cxgirl, that glass bowl! I'm salivating. No mark?
Odd coincidence that I just picked up a nearly identical amber necklace to yours (the carved one) in my latest grab bag from the thrift.

thanks quirkygirl:) I haven't looked yet for a mark, will try later tonight. It really is nice, 1/2" thick glass, has a couple of chunks off the rim but looks wonderful on the table.

I agree, the bowl...it must be ABP? It is a beauty!

the 18K...may suggest rubies to be a valid option...

Thanks wenna! I wondered if ABP, hopefully there will be a mark. If I find one I'll post it here.

CX, the note holder is a nice one. I think called "Counterpoint Dodo bird".

(They actually used to sell for more!)

To my surprise, when I looked these up I saw a RECENT version from Anthropologie, so you'll have to check what you have although from here it looks older. Can't believe they are making modern versions of this MCM classic.

    Nice ships!

CX, ack, I thought the auction I linked was closed -- no, still going up. $$$ Maybe prices are still pretty good. Noticed in completed that it seems like the higher priced finished auctions are using the words "zoo-line" style. I'm sure yours is older. Love the glass bowl, amazing.

Marko, great score on the ring. I think garnets. I have a similar ring, garnets were popular in these 14K and 18K cocktail rings. Gorgeous.

I got another lot of perfume bottles this week.:eek::rolleyes::rolleyes::p:p:D:D:D:D I had actually been watching this auction when it was mentioned last week that a couple of my bottles in an earlier lot might be Alexandrite. ;);) The next time I looked at the listing I realized the one bottle was most likely Alexandrite. The photos were all taken outside & it was definitely a light purple color. When I took it out of the box yesterday & it immediately turned blue I knew I had guessed correctly. :smug::smug::smug:

These are the ones I am definitely keeping & I will sell the rest at my local auction house. :D:D:D

That dodo bird makes me smile every time I look at it. That is my favorite. I love the light blue perfume bottles. Yes, garnets, I have a lot in my collection, and I have a lot of rubies, too, most set in rose gold....this had been my hobby for 40 plus years, and I had the opportunity to buy mistakes and buy low years ago. The color of those rubies is delicious, Komokwa.

I picked up this collection of 9 mice at a church sale yesterday. The three on the left are Bing & Grondahl, Metzler & Ortloff, And Royal Copenhagen. Unfortunately the M & O has a broken foot. the two in the front are Norcrest with stickers still attached.. the other 4 have no marks except the larger one has a partial sticker. Still not a bad deal for $6.00
